Jaffna university cordially invite applications from eligible candidates
for the Bachelor of Arts Honours in Translation Studies program for the
Academic Year 2022/2023. The application period will be open from September 7,
2023, to September 19, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for admission to the
Bachelor of Arts Honours in Translation Studies program, candidates must have
achieved a minimum of three "S" grades in any three subjects in the
G.C.E (A/L) examination held in 2022 and meet the university admission
requirements for the academic year 2022/2023.
Application Process: Prospective applicants are requested to
submit their applications online through the University's website on or before
September 19, 2023. The application should be accompanied by the following
documents:
Payment receipt for the application fee.
Photocopy of the G.C.E (A/L) 2022 result sheet, certified by
the school principal or a Justice of the Peace.
Applicants should send the signed downloaded application
form, G.C.E (A/L) 2022 result sheet, and the original payment receipt via
registered mail or in person to the Assistant Registrar, Admissions Branch,
University of Jaffna, Ramanathan Road, Thirunelvely. Please clearly mention
"Application for Translation Studies – 2022/2023" on the left-hand
corner of the envelope. The deadline for submission is September 21, 2023.
Admission Card: Eligible candidates will receive their
Admission Card via email.

Payment Details: The application fee is Rs. 1000/= and can
be paid at any branch of the Peoples' Bank in favor of the University of Jaffna
Account No. 040002400001655. Please note that online payments for this purpose
are not accepted.
Important Note: Applications that do not meet the minimum
admission requirements, do not include the paying-in-voucher, certified
photocopy of the G.C.E (A/L) 2022 result sheet, or are received after the
closing date will be rejected.
