Enrolment of Special Apprentices in Engineering Sciences for the National Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES) - 2023 Batch
(Academic Semesters will be conducted at the Institute of Engineering Technology and in online method as per the requirement of the institute)
For the competitive test to enroll Special Apprentices in Engineering Sciences for the National Diploma in Engineering Sciences (NDES) at the Institute of Engineering Technology (IET), Katunayake, applications are being accepted from qualified Sri Lankan individuals. According to National Apprentice & Industrial Training Authority regulations, the Commissioner General of Examinations will conduct this test.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering Field
1. Electrical and Electronics - Network and Communication Engineering Course

1. Mechanical - Automotive Engineering Course
2. Mechanical - Mechanical (production) Engineering Course
3. Mechanical - Marine Engineering Course
4. Mechanical - Building Services Engineering Course
01. Eligibility -
Educational Qualifications (at the time of applying) - For all courses, the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination should have been passed in no more than three attempts. Should have completed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in a single sitting for all three (03) subjects—combined mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
and Should have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination with a credit for English (in not more than three attempts)
